Name: Kira Ridley
Code Name: Leech
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 122 lb
Powers: Kira is a psychometrist, AKA "object reader." She is able to touch an object and learn about people that have touched that object. When touching an object, she can glean information about everyone that toughed that object since its creation. She only receives information as long as she is physically in contact with an object, but cannot touch an object without "feedback." Thus, she almost always wears gloves, so she can go about her everyday life without being overloaded by information.
Kira's power also applies to humans. If she touches another person (or vice versa) she will "see" their memories, starting with the most recent, until contact is broken. Psi talents and those with strong mental shields are hard-if not impossible- for her to read.
Job: Student
Bio: Kira was born the middle child of Gerald and Loretta Ridley 16 years ago. She didn't always get along with her older sister, Melany, but was very close to her younger brother, Nic.
Kira was a bit of a bookworm, preferring to stay inside rather than play outside with the other children in the neighborhood, so she became a bit of an outcast. School was also very important to her and she always did very well. She basked in the praise of teachers and didn’t mind helping the other students that didn’t catch on to things as quickly. Her parents were proud of her accomplishments and encouraged her to continue her studies.
When Kira was 14, her power started to manifest. She would pick up an object and "see" things. At first, her parents brushed this off as stress from starting high school, but soon realized it was a lot more than that. Convinced that Kira was suffering from some sort of mental disease, her parents arranged to have her sent to a hospital for treatment. Quite upset with the idea, Kira ran out the front door onto the busy street and was hit by a car. Brain damage from the accident left her without her sight, though her other injuries healed with time. Fed-up with her parents' insistence that she receive help for her "problem," she left home three months ago, attempting to make it on her own. She has not been doing well on her own, and several encounters have left her rather fearful of other people.
