"Man tonight is going to be wild." Murmured Sadistic Majestic, gazing at his reflection in a small mirror. He was checking his make up, making sure it looked right. His lips were black like his nails. He had three black lines marked just above each eyebrow and one straight black line that trailed down from each eye. Closing the mini mirror up in its case, he slips on his trench and walks up the stairs.
The crowd outside was chattering and seeming to grow anxious of the show that was going to be preformed. This caused him to feel just a slight bit more nervous *its all part of being in a band* Were the words that kept running through his mind. He stops just feet away from where he was to exit at the top to gaze down at the audience.

For all the time Dia had spent in New York she had never seen Liberty Island or the statue of Liberty. So she figured why not go and see the enormously large statue that was a famous symbol of freedom for so many immigrants.
Hopping onto a ferry shadowed by her hunter green cloak and an image inducer given to her since she was a part of the institute. She wore the cloak because it was chilly outside and so it wasn't out of place and it was pretty much the only outer layer of clothing she owned. Yet she was attired in a brown sweater to help keep herself warm.
The ferry neared the island and Dia stood off toward the edge, looking out to see a group of people around what seemed to be a stage. Her curiosity was immediately struck.

"How would it feel!?!?" He shouts out, some of the crowd screaming up at him. "I SAID HOW WOULD IT FEEL!?!?" He shouts down at them once again, the crowd screaming back louder. "How would it feel to let believers of spirituality change the government to an empire filled with @$$holes?" He smirks, entering their sight, standing just inside the statue of liberty's crown. One of the spot lights on the stage were shining up at him so he was visible. The music starting to play somewhat of a dark yet violent tune, but every pause it gave it allowed the crowd to scream back 'HEY' to everything he said except durring the chorus.
"In a world filled with people of superstition The main lies that spread are religion (HEY!) Fear of a lord almighty would come And bring about salvation to some (HEY!!) When it takes a presidential place The end of the world will SHOW ITS FACE (HEY!!!)"
The tune changed its pace to a steadier darker one.
"Presidential crucifixion It's worse than Mr. Nixon When religion comes to power The earthly end will strike IN THAT HOUR!"
There was a moment of silence then the music played again at its original pace, Sadistic Majestic placing a foot on the outer edge of the crowd and leaning foreward a bit as if looming over the crowd.
"Why let this fabric of lies Have a chance so someone dies (HEY!) I will decimate the fool Who thought this would be cool (HEY!!) Now that this is spoken and harkened The knife of Christ will be SHARPENED (HEY!!!)"
The tune turned once again darker and steadier than the pace before.
"Presidential crucifixion It's worse than Mr. Nixon When religion comes to power The earthly end will strike IN THAT HOUR"

The ferry hovered near the land, allowing people upon it to view the band at a distance. It was as if they had to stay on the ferry for there wasn't any place to land, to which their might have been. Who was to say for certain?
Dia listened to the words that made her confused, knowing that songs were written from the soul. Songs often discribed how people felt and what they saw in the world around them. So came the question of "who wrote this song?" Was it the lead singer who daringly leaned from the statue's crown.

"We must destroy the Fascist Who attacks us as the Baptist (HEY!) They tremble at our power They are bitter sour (HEY!!) As they have failed to strike the nation And fail to bring us to our decimation (HEY!!!)"
He holds out the microphone, the crowd shouting the chorus back to him.
"Presidential crucifixion It's worse than Mr. Nixon When religion comes to power The earthly end will strike in that hour
Presidential crucifixion It's worse than Mr. Nixon When religion comes to power The earthly end will strike in that hour."
The music fades off as it ends, he slowly pulls the mic back up to a few inches away from his mouth. "Well, now that we've gotten that out of the way... Let me tell you a story... A story about a man and his pumpkins." He smiles a bit, the crowd growing a little more wild as if recognising the what was going to happen. "A man, who had a wife... but he couldn't keep her." His voice trails off, the music slowly playing a slow paced beat.
"There once was a pumpkin farm One where cries formed in alarm The screams were not forgotten For they happened quite often Since the day he lost his mind He was never again to be kind This once peaceful happy place Has changed to foreign face All because that little pregnant dog hog Took his heart and cut it like a log"
The tune changes to a fun yet violent kind of tune.
"Peter peter pumpkin eater had a wife and he beat 'her Peter peter pumpkin eater had a wife he couldn't keep her"
The song continued on, the guy even had a woman show up who posed as the pumpkin eater's wife. When she did, he flew down from the crown, picked her up and dropped her into a big meat grinder like machine that had popped up out of no where. When the song grew closer to its end, the machine sent out some pumpkin pies, which he threw at some of the people in the crowd. Blood and gore and bits of pie splattering everwhere when ever they came in contact with people.

Her eyes widened as the woman was dropped into a meat grinder, her body stiffened for a moment as she drew closer toward the edge of the boat. Dia had become worried that this was real that the woman was decapitated...and then she remembered something her mother often brought to her attention. Though it was mainly about movies it could very well apply to this situation. The woman, meat grinder machine, and the pumpkins were all a "part of the show."
Yet it still disturbed the usually gray skinned female, to watch as blood and gore as well as bits of pie splattering every time the pies came in contact with people. "It's all a part of the show." She whispered to herself, her hands gripping upon the metal frame that kept her back. "All a part of the show...."

He waves down the crowd as they finish up and let the next band take their turn. He went around behind the back where no one was really around. Kneeling down near the water, he cups up some water and washes his face. Trying to remove at least some of the make up.
"Well, that didn't work out to bad." he murmurs quietly, glancing around. He slips off his trench and lets his wings move freely, sighing in relaxation that there was no one around. At least not right now that he could see. He turned back to the water and gazed down at his reflection in the moon light.

As the next band came on the people upon the island was back to their frenzy but as for those who wanted to leave the ferry finally came to their rescue. Dia moved off of the ferry to look around. Afterall she was there to view the Statue of Liberty and so was determined to look at it, though probably couldn't do the tour since there were bands playing. Yet she could still be close to it.

He stares down at his reflection a little longer and then wipes off some more of the make up. He slowly sits back, staring up at the moon.
"Quite lovely tonight... Pretty nice." He murmurs to himself thoughtfully as he scratches the side of his left arm. "Not often I see it this full." He shivers a little as he glances down to see he had scratched through some of his skin.

Wanting to see the back she traveled past the crowd by moving close toward the shore. The sounds of the band playing still rang pretty clearly in her ears. While seeking to fulfill her quest her denim blue eyes fell upon the singer of the last band that had performed. Yet with her previous limited view that she had from the ferry, she didn't recognize him.
She was about to just past him, minding her own business but there was something about the way he sat looking at the sky and then looking at his arm. Was there something wrong with it? From her current position she couldn't tell and so decided to investigate.
"Are you alright?" Her voice asked timidly.

His wings buzzed slightly as he quickly slid his trench back on. He stood up fast, the machine on his leg making a whirling kind of sound as he did. He glances over his shoulder a moment at her then looked back up at the moon.
"Peachy." was the only word he used to answer her before walking away, as if he was somewhat cautious of her presence.

"Oh, ok. I just wanted to make sure." She nodded and withdrew herself. Dia wasn't the type to be social to those who did not wish to be social in return. Her mind had registered the buzzing sound but shrugged it off as some nearby insect. But what really set her off was the sound of metal... machinery? Dia's eyes narrowed as she turned around to look at the male once again.
If she had normal ears she might not have picked up the whir..or she might have. But it was the machinery itself that gave him away. She followed him for she couldn't help but wonder if he was hiding something.

With every step he took with his right leg, there was the quiet whirling sound of machinery. He stops a moment, looking around a bit before turning to face her. "What is it you want?" He asks with a frown, finding that she had been following him somewhat.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you." She uttered quickly, stumbling over her words at first but only at first. Recomposing herself Dia looked at him, making full eye contact. "I was just..curious." It seemed that she didn't mind the machine, in fact she found it quite interesting.
She eyed the machine for a moment before trailing her gaze back onto him. "It..is a nice piece of..machinery. H-how long have you had it?" Dia was uncertain to how he would react to someone speaking of a difference he had. She hoped dearly that he would not become overly upset.

"Longer than I can remember." He answers with a frown. Staring at her, it was obvious he wasn't too happy about her questioning his disabilities. He turns and starts walking towards the back entrance into the liberty statue.
